COURSE CHANGE BRINGS BACK CAMDEN YARDS

 In Uncategorized

EXCITING NEWS!  The 2020 Baltimore Marathon course will once again include Eutaw St. and a run through Camden Yards!

For 16 years, the run though Camden Yards was a highlight of the race route.  In celebration of our 20th Running, we are so glad to be able to return this recognizable landmark to the course once again!

The Marathon and Leg 1 of the Relay will start just outside Gate A near Lee St. The first steps of your Charm City journey will trace the facade of the former B&O Warehouse that was restored as a key part of the design of the stadium.

Boog’s BBQ, the center field scoreboard and the 155 markers for home runs that cleared the right field wall will be visible as you run up Eatuw St. toward the Babe Ruth and Hall of Fame statues that fill the plaza.  The majority of the course will remain the same after that point. A new course map will be released soon.

This exciting change means marathoners can have their (crab) cake and eat it too as the course will include both historic Camden Yards and the iconic Inner Harbor!

If you have registered, TELL YOUR FRIENDS.  If you have not, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
