MCCULLOGH AND MLK BLVD - MOONLISCIOUS

Some funky energy…a helping of rock and jam intensity…shake on some soul and jazz. That’s the flavor of Moonliscious. Originally formed in 2008 through the combination of two musical projects, the band has developed a steady and devoted following in the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia region. Featuring a sound that has been described as “The Funky Meters meets Steely Dan,” with a little bit of DC go-go swing, the 5-piece has been moving both brains and backsides from the ocean shores to the West Virginia mountains, from the Philly streets to the Virginia countryside.

We have also performed at the Washington and Philadelphia Rock and Roll Marathons for the past 6 years and at the Marine Corps Marathon for the past 2 years. We always try to keep the runners motivated and entertained!

Jam Man controls his own equipment and can play any event from small acoustic to a full stage band and has played all over Baltimore, Fells Point, Overlea, Parkville, White Marsh etc. Jam-Man’s sound is classic rock. The Beatles come first then there is everybody else. Everybody else includes the Stones, Dylan, R.E.M., Rod Stewart etc also a lot of more recent music. Jam-Man can play music for any age group with hundreds of tracks to choose from. He also plays Irish Music with a couple big gigs every St Patty’s weekend, dressed as a leprechaun. It’s always a good time at a Jam-Man concert because everyone participates it could be as small as 10 people or up to 1000 people.
